How to make a reservation?
Reservations are made online only. BOOK NOW.
Your reservation system is full, can I get on the waiting list?
No. Unfortunately, we do not have a waiting list system. As we confirm reservations 24 hours in advance, new availabilities may be added.
Do you offer take-out meals?
No. We are currently focusing on table service.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Civilian dress is required.
Do you offer a catering service?
No. It is however possible to reserve the entire restaurant for a private event. Contact us for prices and availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, VISA, Mastercard, Amex and debit cards.

How to make a reservation?
We are not currently taking reservations as our establishment is closed.

Do I have to pay for everyone at the time of booking?
No, when you take the reservation we will ask for a credit card number as a guarantee, you only pay a non-refundable reservation fee of $ 1.50 + tx per person. You pay for the entire meal, individually or in a group, the moment of your visit.
When is the sugar season and the harvest season?
The sugar season runs from mid-February to early May. The harvest season is generally from mid-August to the end of October. The cabin is open Thursday through Sunday during these two times of the year. The duration of the meal is a maximum of 2h30.
I would like to book for a group during the season, how do I go about it?
The booking process for a group is the same as for two people.
I would like to book for a group off-season, how do I go about it?
We currently not taking reservations.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children from 4 to 12 years old must pay for their meals, at a reduced price. The experience is free for children under 4 years old. High chairs are available.
I have dietary restrictions, can you accommodate me?
The menu is not designed to accommodate people with severe allergies or special diets. If you still decide to participate in the experience, you must notify your server on your arrival so that he can indicate the composition of the dishes throughout your meal.
Can I bring my alcohol?
The Au Pied de Cochon sugar shack offers a wine and cocktail list, so drinks are on sale on site. It is STRICTLY forbidden to bring alcohol.
Is there a private section and / or a VIP table?

Someone in my group is in a wheelchair, is it possible to accommodate them?
Yes. The chair should be "standard" because electric chairs are generally too wide to fit through the door (the frame is 31 inches wide). It is also essential to notify the reservation service of the presence of a person with reduced mobility.
What is the deadline for canceling or modifying my reservation? Are there any fees?
You can cancel or reduce the number of people on your reservation up to three weeks (21 days) before the date of your reservation. After this period, 50% of the price of the adult meal plus tax per missing person will be charged to the credit card given as a guarantee.

Is it possible to visit your facilities?
No. Unfortunately this service is not available.

How to make a reservation?
Reservations are made online only. BOOK NOW.
Can I come even if I don't have a reservation?
It is preferable for you to reserve, in order to ensure the availability of the products.
What should I bring for a picnic?
All our baskets are equipped with utensils and glasses. Parasols and furniture in limited quantities are installed throughout the orchard. You can bring blankets or chairs to enhance your experience.
Can I park my recreational vehicle?
Yes. We accept RVs of 18ft and less, and this only for the duration of your presence at the picnics. However, it is forbidden to spend the night on our site.
Are children welcome?
Yes. However, we would be grateful if you did not bring meals for them as the same standards as an indoor restaurant dining room apply with us, even if you eat in the orchard.
I have dietary restrictions, can you accommodate me?
We adjust the menu to please all of our customers. Allergies and restrictions can be taken into account on site as long as they are reasonable. However, as our kitchen is open plan, all of our products may have been in contact with allergens.
Can I reserve the marquee? Do you hold private events?

We offer a private space with a mix of signature dishes from the Cabane d'à Côté and items from the seasonal picnic basket. Plate service with a waiter, cook and appointed sommelier. Capacity of 8 to 12 people.
Can I bring a dog?
Yes. However, you must keep it on a leash throughout your presence.
Can I bring my alcohol?
No. You cannot bring your own alcohol. We have a wine list filled with Quebec wines and / or ciders from the Au Pied de Cochon cider house and beers for sale on site, as well as a fine selection of non-alcoholic beverages. It is STRICTLY forbidden to bring alcohol.
What happens with my reservation in the event of rain?
It is important to honor your reservation. We have set up tents to protect you from the rain. It is also possible to take the basket to take away.

What are your points of sale / drop-off points?
We are not holding any drop off points or at-home deliveries at this time, we will be back for the holiday season!
Can I send someone to pick up my order for me?
A relative can pick up your order on site, having a copy of your invoice or delivery slip.
How can I change the drop point selected when ordering?
In order to meet the deadlines, write to us at info@pieddecochon.ca, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Where can I find your products?

I have a business and would like to sell your products, what should I do?
Most of our products are available through our distributor Favuzzi. You can contact them via info@favuzzi.com.
Can I add items to an order already placed?
No. Unfortunately, it is not possible to modify the content of an order that has already been placed. You must place a second order.
Do you sell gins and vodka in your shops?
Mononcle gin, Matante gin, Redoux vodka and ready-to-drink cans are only available in SAQ.
I don't have an order, can I buy items on site?
Yes, you can buy things according to what's available at the moment.
